The XVI INTERSTATE CONFERENCE «THERMOELECTRICS AND THEIR APPLICATIONS-2018» (ISCTA 2018) has finished its work.
The conference was attended by 167 participants from 13 countries. During the Conference, 58 oral and 56 poster presentations were presented.
- Ioffe Institute (Laboratory for Physics of Thermoelements)
- Scientific Council of the Russian Academy of Sciences “Methods of Direct Energy Conversion”
- Interregional Innovative Development Center “INNO-MIR”.
The conference organizers acknowledge the generous support, provided by the Conference Partner: Fund for Infrastructure and Educational Programs of RUSNANO Group.
The conference was financially supported by Russian Foundation For Basic Research (RFBR), Project № 18-08-20105 Г.
Conference organizers thank sponsors for their help in organizing the conference: ECOGEN Technology,
The young scientist section was held within the Conference. Scientists from universities, students and postgraduate students specializing in the problems of the thermoelectric energy conversion presented 19 oral and 21 poster reports. The best presentations by young investigators were given special awards.
The Conference proceedings will be published in Journal of Semiconductors in 2019.
Welcome to the XVI Interstate Conference “Thermoelectrics and their Applications 2018”. (ISCTA 2018)
The Conference is the 16th in the series of Interstate conferences on Thermoelectrics and their Applications that provides an international forum for presentations and information exchange on the thermoelectric materials science and thermoelectric energy conversion technology. This biannual conference series began in 1985 in Saint-Petersburg (Leningrad), Russia as a forum of thermoelectric community of the Soviet Union. After the collapse of the Soviet Union the Conference provides the meeting place for scientists from the Independent States of former Soviet Union. No we cordially invite international thermoelectric community to join this meeting in one of the most beautiful cities of Russia.
The conference will cover modern aspects of thermoelectric technology. Oral presentations and poster sessions will give the opportunity for informal discussions.
The best presentations by young investigators will be given a special award.
Looking forward to meet you in Saint-Petersburg!
